So far, all three sets of gasification furnaces in the gas production workshop have achieved initial start-up success.
On January 4, 2021, the original feeding of the No. 1 gasifier in the gas production workshop was successful. By January 30, 2021, the No. 2 gasifier The furnace has been successfully fed and has been running smoothly for 31 days. At 17:00 on March 2, the pressure boosting and hot tightening of the No. 3 gasifier was completed. By 18:00, the gas guide of the No. 3 gasifier was completed and smoothly integrated into the system. Currently, all three gasifiers are running smoothly. The finished ethylene glycol product was officially produced on February 18. On March 2, the first vehicle of ethylene glycol was sold and left the factory.
Shaanxi Weihe Binzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. uses three GE 6.5MPa coal-water slurry gasifiers to produce 300,000 tons of ethylene glycol, manufactured by Harbin Boiler Factory.
At present, the 1# air separation unit has produced qualified liquid oxygen and has been running stably for half a month. The total output of nitrogen is more than 15000KNm3 and oxygen 20091KNm3, providing a reliable gas source for the back-end work section. . The turbine-coupled air compressor of the 2# air separation unit has been successfully rotated and the mechanical test has been completed. The surge test of the air compressor is about to begin, laying the foundation for the debugging of other equipment and system purging of the 2# system.
Three sets of circulating water are all put into operation, providing qualified circulating water for the start-up of each device. As the gasified wastewater enters the comprehensive sewage conditioning tank, the test results show that ammonia nitrogen and COD both meet the standards. With the output of urea products from the urea unit, the 2# system began to enter mud on March 2 for biochemical debugging, which will provide a more powerful guarantee for the drainage of the production unit.
Ethylene glycol prices continue to rise

Shaanxi Coal Chemical Weihe Chemical Group Shaanxi Weihe Binzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. 300,000 tons /year coal-to-ethylene glycol project is the earliest coal-to-ethylene glycol project established in Shaanxi Province and plays a leading role in Shaanxi, a major coal-producing province. The project construction site is located in Xinminyuan Modern Coal Chemical Industrial Park, Bin County, and the project covers an area of 600,000 square meters. In April 2016, Shaanxi Weihe Binzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. signed a CTEG technology licensing contract and engineering design contract for the 300,000 tons/year coal-to-ethylene glycol project with Gaochem and Donghua Engineering. The original owner of the project is Shaanxi Binchang Mining Group Co., Ltd. On November 19, 2014, the 300,000-ton coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Binchang Mining Group was officially handed over to Shaanxi Weihe Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd.
The project construction content includes main projects such as gasification equipment, purification equipment, and ethylene glycol synthesis equipment, as well as public supporting facilities such as water supply and drainage, desalted water stations, power supply, heating, and fire protection. , storage and transportation projects and environmental protection projects such as waste gas treatment, wastewater treatment, and solid waste disposal. After the completion of the project, the annual output of ethylene glycol will be 300,000 tons. By-products: crude DMC 17,576 tons/year, DMO heavy components 5,336 tons/year, fusel oil 5,920 tons/year, the light fraction is 13,440 tons/year, the ethylene glycol heavy fraction is 6,048 tons/year, and the sulfur is 4,321.6 tons/year.
