Project Overview

In 2015, the 600,000 tons/year ethylene glycol comprehensive utilization project of Inner Mongolia Ordos Xinhang Energy Co., Ltd. was successfully put into operation at one time. The project was constructed by Sinochem 16th Construction and is located in Duguitra Industrial Park, Hangjin Banner, Ordos. The original owner was Elion Resources Group, which was later changed to Xinhang Energy. Xinhang Energy Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of West New Era Energy Investment Co., Ltd. A wholly-owned subsidiary in Inner Mongolia. The first phase of the project is to build a project with an annual output of 300,000 tons of coal-to-ethylene glycol, 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, and 520,000 tons of urea. It is currently the largest coal-to-ethylene glycol device in China. The device includes a crude ethylene glycol unit, an ethylene glycol unit, and an ethylene glycol unit. Glycol refining unit, oxalate/ethylene glycol recovery unit, tail gas treatment/boiler water treatment unit, ethylene glycol substation, circulating water and other public engineering units.
