The core process uses high-chemical synthesis gas to produce ethylene glycol technology, and is contracted by Donghua Institute. At the same time, it signed an air separation unit contract with Air Liquide.

Hubei Sanning ammonia synthesis raw material structure adjustment and joint production of 600,000 Ton/year ethylene glycol project (Phase I) is based on the synthetic ammonia production capacity of Sanning Company’s urea plant and Tiantian Company’s 520,000 tons/year. The estimated total investment of the project is 10 billion yuan. The new project will use Shenhua high-quality coal as raw material to produce 400,000 tons/year of ethylene glycol and 520,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia; use sulfur as raw material to produce 800,000 tons/year of industrial-grade sulfuric acid.
